• Traditional Full Service: Includes services of the funeral director and staff, embalming, other preparation of remains, use of facilities and equipment for funeral ceremony, visitation or viewing for one day, preparation room, other use of facilities, transfer of remains to funeral home (within 20 mile radius), hearse, funeral sedan (service vehicle) and escort auto.
• Graveside Service: Includes services of the funeral director and staff, embalming, other preparation of remains, use of facilities and equipment for funeral ceremony, preparation room, other use of facilities, transfer of remains to funeral home, and hearse to cemetery (within a 20 mile radius).
• The above service packages are but a few examples of many packages available. You may always customize services to meet your specific needs.

Cremation Services

• We offer cremation services starting at $1,995.
• Direct Cremation: Includes local removal, transport to crematory, necessary services of funeral director and staff, up to 48 hours custodial care, identification, authorizations, basic use of facilities, writing and placing newspaper notices and obtaining certified copies of death certificate.
• Traditional Cremation Service: Includes services of funeral director and staff, embalming, other preparation of remains, use of facilities and equipment for funeral ceremony, visitation and viewing for one day, preparation room, other use of facilities, transfer of remains to funeral home (within 20 mile radius), transfer to crematory and continuing care. You may select a rental casket or purchase a casket designed for cremation.
• The above are examples of the many cremation services available. You may always customize our offerings to suit your needs.

Forwarding & Receiving Services

• Our staff is available for the coordination of forwarding or receiving of remains worldwide. This includes correspondence with foreign consulates and all necessary documentation.

Continuing Care

Although the days surrounding the loss of a loved one can be difficult, there are the days following that loss which can also prove almost unbearable. At Maher-Melbourne, we recognize and address this issue with our continuing commitment to aftercare…caring for you, after your loss.

• We assist families with obtaining grief recovery resources.
• Benefits Assistance: We assist with veterans and Social Security benefits along with filing insurance benefits claims. For Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, we will file for your benefits. This is included in our services without additional charges.
